Everyone has an opinion of what happiness is, this is my opinion based of my life experiences and research.
What is TRUE happiness?
It’s easy to let people around you believe you are happy after all it takes less muscles to smile than what it does to frown.
It’s even harder to pretend to be happy when in fact you are not.
Maybe you would be happy with life if you took time a look around you and realized what makes you happy. Some people have false happiness in believing earthly things are what make you happy.
Health – Wealth and Prosperity…..all these are temporary and will fall away. When this happens, what will you be left with?
What about age and beauty?
Age is just a number and aging cannot be stopped. We will all age as time goes by. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And as we are ALL created by OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, we are ALL indeed made to His Image and are therefore all beautiful.
True beauty is what is in your heart and not what lays on the surface. If you have beauty within you will portray beauty without.
True happiness comes from being content with that that you have no matter if you have a lot or a little. It comes from accepting the small things in life and appreciating them. When you can do that then God can bless you with more.
We read in Jeremiah 29:11” For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

What is the best way to find true happiness?
Simple: The Word of God:
*Psalm 37:4 “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
God knows your thoughts mind and desires and understands you better than anyone else ever could.
*Romans 5:2 “through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.”
Who best to trust and have faith in than God?
*2 Corinthians 12:10 “That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
When you draw strength from God then you will have reason to be happy.
*Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
If we are content with everything God gives us we will be fulfilled.
*Proverbs 16:20 “Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.”
Trust is God is eternal and true happiness is everlasting whereas earthly treasure gives temporary delight.
*Psalm 37:4 “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret – it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity. The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming. The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright.”
We all need Christ in our lives and He gives us inner peace which leads to true happiness. So, keep smiling and let those around you keep wondering…. Don’t let life pass you by with chasing false happiness.
Here at King’s Kid Creche we show the children how to be happy and find joy in everthing they do.
Matthew 6:33 “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
